The organisation counts twice as much as the individual
They handed out a smart tool to thousands of people, then looked at who actually made something of it.
According to Microsoft’s 2026 survey, two thirds of the result is explained by the organisation – culture, leadership, rules. One third by who sits at the computer.
19 per cent of respondents work somewhere the organisation truly stands behind them. 26 per cent of managers use what they introduced themselves. Where it works, that figure is 85.
So the tool is there.
