The cornerstones method

The method provides a framework for defining the essential points of a given event, project or process.

The concept in brief

  1. Defining the cornerstones means analysing the initial situation (starting point), setting the goals (end point), designating the milestones (nodes) and defining the mission (centre point).

  2. There is no set order for defining the individual elements; the parts can be defined in any order.

  3. The nodes lie, in chronological order, between the starting point and the end point.

  4. Finding the centre point helps to put the essence into words.
