Who sees what?

Before you order – and what the respondent reads on the first screen.

Individual answersbelong to the respondent alone. Everyone receives their own result and no one else’s.

The managersees only the aggregated team report.

The summaryis produced from at least 3 completions; with fewer, individual answers could be traced back.

What it is about

The Digital Balance Index examines how conscious, systemic and operation-based your organisation’s digital presence is. It does not measure technical knowledge but how the organisation thinks and works in the digital space. Fifty questions across five dimensions help map operating patterns and identify possible directions for development.

The analysis can be read at three levels.

At individual level it starts with self-reflection: respondents learn how they themselves see the organisation’s operation in the digital space.

The evaluation does not grade; it paints a picture of what the respondent experiences in each operating area – even this first level prompts self-reflection and sparks conversation.

At group level, when several members of a team or department complete it, the aim is not averaging but finding patterns: where the differences lie, which working habits emerge and what blind spots may be present.

At organisational level – at least eight to ten completions per unit are recommended – the system is suitable for an operational diagnosis: rather than collecting opinions, it identifies operating reflexes and system-wide patterns, revealing where digital operation supports and where it hinders organisational goals.

The analysis applies in every industry and can be compared and benchmarked at individual, group and organisational level alike.

Why measure it? More and more organisations work with digital tools, yet their use is often neither consistent nor conscious. Most audits take a technological view – this analysis is built on an operational diagnosis. Few assessments prompt self-reflection rather than simply rating or grading.

Who is it for?

For managers who want a clear view of the levels of everyday digital operation and of what supports or holds back progress.

For key people in the organisation who run digital systems, information or shared spaces.

For every employee who uses the systems and feels they sometimes work and sometimes don’t.

For those in HR, development or consulting roles who want to start a shared conversation about working more simply, transparently and efficiently in the digital space.
